When you write a CV the work experience section is arguably one of the most important ones. Yes, you can include skills in the skills section, but at that point they are just claims. It is in the work experience where you can turn mere claims of skills into actual achievements. And it's the work experience section which can give a lot of meat to the bones of your CV.

At the same time, that is a lot easier said than done, and many people undersell themselves on a CV. Moreover, some people go in the opposite direction and say too much. You have to get the balance right. You also need good CV content, and you need a presented correctly using concise, pertinent and proactive bulleted achievements.
