Competencies and natural traits are useful to include when you write a CV. Indeed, a lot of job specifications ask for particular competencies, skills and personal traits, and it is to your advantage if you can include the competencies that the employer is looking for.

For example, employers usually don't just look for learned skills (such as IT, statistics etc) but they also look at competencies such as your ability to problem solve, multitask, work as a team player etc. They also tend to look at your personal traits including your enthusiasm, commitment and trustworthiness and more.
