CV Action Words

The best CVs are those which portray you as an achiever, over and above the competition.
This is easier said than done, and most people have difficulty with this. This is one reason why many people have CVs which are reasonable, but which are not outstanding enough to grab the employer's attention.

Another thing you need to bear in mind is that some people are under the false impression that as long as you include action words in your CV then you will come across as an achiever and everything will be fine. However, this is a rather naive assertion. If you really want to come across as an achiever it takes more than just adding action words, for example you also need to include the right achievements, word them powerfully, optimise them for the job in question, and refine them down to the optimum length whilst simultaneously energising the sales aspect.
