Chronological CV

As the term suggests, a chronological CV lists your work experience in reverse chronological order (with the most recent jobs first).
Some people take this literally and include every single aspect of your work experience in strict chronological order, whereas other people list fewer entries (sometimes even missing some jobs out completely), again in chronological order.

Chronological CVs

are particularly popular with candidates who have worked in the same career all their working life and want to show career progression.

If you want to create a chronological Cv, and these are quite conventional, then it's up to you which method you want to choose. One thing worth considering is that there is more to CV writing than meets the eye, as such, it could be worth reading more tips in our how to write a CV section.
